The Apology is Plato's version of the speech given by Socrates as he defended himself against the charges of corruption in 399BC. It is one of Plato's earliest dialogues. Crito describes Socrate's conversations with his friend Crito on the nature of justice. The Phaedo details the final days and death of Socrates, and his thoughts on the soul, immortality and the afterlife.
